ReYard House is a climate-responsive housing prototype built at the Morocco campus in Ben Guerir as part of Solar Decathlon Africa 2019. The project received three international awards in its first year, was awarded the BigArch Prize the following year, and was nominated for the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 2022.

Façade Corner Views

As Earthen Architecture Mentor, guidance was provided in the research and development of the building envelope. The external shell was developed through an earthen panel R&D process, applying a timber structural system with reed infill and earthen panel technology.
