The İğneada Permaculture and Ecotourism Project was developed as a climate-responsive rural tourism model integrating permaculture principles with a circular design approach.

Construction Process

Locally sourced materials were prioritized, and reclaimed construction elements collected from the surrounding region were reintegrated into the design process, reducing embodied carbon and transportation impact. Circularity criteria informed both material selection and construction systems.

Locally Sourced Materials

Solar panels were integrated to support on-site renewable energy production, aiming for a low-impact and partially self-sufficient operational model.

Interior Space Renders

The project was conceived as a regenerative architectural prototype establishing a closed-loop relationship between ecology, tourism, and the local economy.
