Anadolu Meleği is an ecological and climate-responsive rural development model developed to revive disappearing vernacular architectural memory and to support the social and economic empowerment of women. The project was committed following the “Women of the Earth” competition organized by the Yves Rocher Foundation & France Institute in 2016, where the proposal “Reviving Life in Nimri” received the Turkey First Prize and two International First Prizes.

The earthen structure built in Keban in 2019 was designed using local materials and contemporary eco-architectural techniques, functioning as a collective space for women’s education and production.
